Dr. Frauke Bender is a Professor for International Management, a certified facilitator for intercultural learning, trainer for global leadership, book author, keynote speaker, and podcaster.
Prior to joining the International School of Management in Dortmund, Germany, in the summer of 2021, Frauke worked and lived in Denver, Colorado for 5 years, where she held the role of ranked faculty member at the Anderson College of Business and Computing of Regis University.
During her academic career she also taught as Visiting Professor in Australia and the Netherlands, and worked as a researcher at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva, Switzerland. Frauke’s research and publications focus on the cross-cultural aspects of International Business, global mobility, diversity, and inclusion. Before her academic career, Frauke worked for 15+ years as a seasoned Marketing and Communication Expert in the corporate world, e.g., as Head of Communications for the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York, USA, as well as Head of Corporate Communications for a German blue chip Real Estate company.
She earned her Doctorate in Economics with a thesis on international migration and a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in International Management and Marketing from the University of Münster.
